Appointment - don't know what to expect
« on: August 18, 2015, 09:22:47 AM »
I have an appointment in the plastic surgery  department tomorrow about SH. I was referred  after a plastics doctor came to see me when I was on SSU for an overdose. I don't know what to expect or why I need to go. Does anyone have any experience of them?

It was okay,  the nurse was lovely and asked if I have enough support and how I am feeling in myself etc,she said I can self refer back to them if I need to or if I am concerned.  It was basically just to check everything is healing okay and aren't getting infected as I have a tendency to reopen things and take sutures out.
