Study on self-harm and social groups
« on: October 09, 2024, 08:45:46 PM »
Hi all!

Some of you might remember that I conducted a consultation on this forum a few months ago regarding a study on self-harm and social identity. Your input was extremely helpful and informed the eventual design of our study, so thank you all very much! I have now obtained ethical approval for the study, which you can find below. It involves a questionnaire which should take no more than 20 minutes. We're looking for people who self-harm and are aged 18 or over.

I think our research is valuable and looks at something which is understudied: the role of communities for people who self-harm. By filling out the survey, you'll be helping to further our understanding of self-harm and potentially generate evidence around the impact of self-harm oriented communities like this one.

Thanks for all your help so far, and please don't hesitate to DM me with any questions or suggestions!

Best wishes,
Guan
