Title: Integrative Psychotherapy & Personality Disorder Clinic *SH/ED*
Post by: Sian-May on December 14, 2012, 10:55:37 AM
Hi all.

Just wondering if anyone has had Integrative Psychotherapy before? Not sure what to expect. I'll only be having an assessment first but it's in the building where I work which is kind of convienient but also making me a little anxious as people I see around the building will see me going there to my appointment.

I've also been given the opportunity by my counsellor to do a referral with her to the personality disorders clinic which I'm unsure about. The therapy sessions seem to be during the day and I work full time so not sure if I'll be able to go to it. Part of me doesn't really want the help because I don't know how I'll cope down the line without SH as a fall back.

She keeps on at me about seeing an ED specialist but I keep refusing. What kinds of things do they do? I'm not ready at all for that kind of thing but just curious so I know maybe for the future.

Any replies are appreciated :) Thank you x x

do you think that you would be able to talk at the assessment about how where the place is making you anxious, ask how sessions will fit into work schedule etc and go over with them how they think seeing an ED specialist will help you?
