I've been on 50mg daily but reduced to 25mg (1 tablet) about 4-6 weeks ago at a guess but just wanted to know if anyone has come off them before who found they had an increase in self-harm urges when they reduced??????!? ??????!?

Hi I have been on amitriptyline for some time now. At my highest i was on 225mg but have come down to 50mg. I have had little wobbles at time as i have reduced. I think its entirelty normal that as meds change we might experience a return of symptoms but hopefully not for long - can i ask what has triggered urges to resurface? You're doing well to be reducing  :) :hug1:

Worry/anxiety & physical illness mostly.
