Has anyone been on this before? How is it?

I'm on it, have been for 2 years. I'm on a high dose (above guideline amount) and have no side effects from it.

I was on it for a while too, stupid high amount as well. Had no side effects from itapart from the initial 2-3 days where I felt a little nauseous but that might be because I still had previous ADs in my system. It didnt last as an efficient AD for me.

Stopped cold turkey with no affect on me at all.

Everyone is different though.

People I know say that it made them feel a little strange for a few hours the first few days, but that disappeared and it worked well for them.

They affect everyone differently. I'd say give it a go and see.

I was on it for several months a couple of years back but it played tricks with my eye sight and head a bit. I would look at someone and the background would look like it was zooming in and out over their shoulder which was pretty odd.

I stopped it cold turkey and had some nasty side effects for a couple of weeks so I really wouldn't recommend that!

Hope it works for you though :hug2:

I get on with it a lot better than the others. I'm maxed out on it though and needed to add a mood stabiliser and anti psychotic to get full benefit.
Missed 2 consecutive doses occasionally and felt awful. Dizzy, headachy (I think it lowers blood pressure)

I was twice at two different points in life, once it worked well the other not so well... so it's worth a try! because at one point it did really help me

I was on Sertraline for a year or so, I found it the most helpful of all the ADs I've taken, BUT it made me throw up for the first couple of days I was on it. I also found it really difficult to come off I got shock like sensations whilst I was coming off it. But whilst I was on it it really worked well for me and I had no side effects when i was settled on it
