Putting pressure on yourself to be well

Does anyone else put pressure on themselves to be well? I did it at Christmas and ended up unwell. I think I am doing it again now and starting to feel more anxious. I think putting pressure on myself to be well is making me unwell. I am certainly getting more anxiety and starting to get some bad thoughts creeping in. Nothing I cannot handle.
now hand over the tea bags and we won't have any trouble.... :police:

I am putting a lot of pressure on myself to be well this weekend for visiting my sister. Especially as I was so unwell last time I went down. I just want to be well and normal for her.
now hand over the tea bags and we won't have any trouble.... :police:

Yes, this is so understandable- what's really good is that you recognise it. I do it too but hadn't recognised it. Do you have an easy relationship with your sister? I hope you have a lovely weekend  :hug2:

Yes, I do this too.

I’m learning that asking for help early can stop me getting myself into a pickle. It’s a fine line isn’t it?

It is a fine line. I feel like I complain all the time about my mental health. It's reassuring that I am not the only one that goes through this. It is frustrating. I was ok until I started to stress about staying ok.
