I have a place on Time to Change's 'Speaking Out' training in 2 weeks time, really looking forward to that, need to find out if A who I trained with last week has got a place as would be good if we could go together.

Went to fitness class that my friend was taking this morning, afterwards we had a drink and she said I was looking better, not just for loosing weight, but my face was brighter.

Later on my way to a cookery class I bumped into my CPN, and she said I was walking with confidence with my head up, said I used to look like I didn't want anybody to see me.

Thanks Lily  :hug1:

Need to crack on with my essay over the next few days and catch up with what I got behind on with last weeks exam and revision.

Yesterday had an invite from an agency I previously sent my CV to, to apply for an admin/customer services job that is very local to me.  I've sent an up to date CV and had a reply saying she'll be in touch soon when she has more information.  It's a temp job for 3 months but if I got it would be really helpful for me to pay the balance for Tunisia at Christmas.

Wrote just over 600 words of my TMA, need to listen to the audio before I can write any more.  Tomorrow I have a training course from 10am - 2pm so doubt I'll manage to get much done on the TMA.

Have busy days the rest of the week and think I am going to a friends for the afternoon and evening on Saturday and wanted to see a film on Sunday.  The cut off date for the TMA isn't til the 30th but I'm seeing my mentor on the 26th and want to have a substantial amount written by then.

Hey!

It's brilliant when I read things like this, it gives me hope and makes me smile. You seem like you have lots of positive things going on. I'm new but just wanted to say that I'm really happy for you!  :hug1:

 :trig: sui

Today it is a year since I made a serious attempt to take my life, I was saved because the crisis team put out a police welfare call and the police forced my door open.  I woke up in intensive care and was then on a section 2 & 3 for the next 8 weeks.

Today is also 7 weeks since my last self harm.

I'm in a very different place to a year ago, my life is much busier and generally am not depressed.  I did have a dark day on Sunday but it didn't last in to this week.

Am having a tough time with the thought of turning 40 later this year, feel I have nothing to show for my time on earth and haven't achieved anything.
