Article here

A really moving account of Olympic Gold Medallist Victoria's battle with her demons is in the Sunday Times, taken from her forthcoming book.  This article is from the Telegraph.

Wow. I had no idea. And I love her honesty and how she actually says it how it is.

I remember Kelly Holmes announcing something similar after she won her medals in Athens. It is good to see these amazing role models able to reveal such personals secrets, and still be viewed as the hero(ines) they are. Really helps to publisize the often seen to be taboo, that we all struggle with on a daily basis.

Wow. She's so honest about herself- i can't imagine telling the whole world about my sh like that.
you think that amazing athletes like her don't stuggle with the same problems you do, but then i recognised things she says in that article that i've often felt myself.
getting sh out in the public eye is a really important thing- i think things like that are all too often swept under the carpet as something that shouldn't be shared or talked about, that people should struggle with alone.

what an article, thanks for sharing xx
