Title: Valerian root.
Post by: Anne_Gwish on February 11, 2012, 09:54:50 PM
I read that valerian root is used as a natural sedative. It treats depression, physical pain (like menstrual pains and stuff), anxiety and many other things. It's also good for the heart and the digestive system.
I read that it's the same sort of c******l components than the main ones in valium so it has many attributes of valium but without the side effects.

I bought valerian root infusion today so I'll try but I was wondering if anyone on here had tried it for any reason?

Oh yeah, dried valerian root stinks like hell :D But it's available in capsules, tincture and dried pieces.

i am a product advisor in a health food shop and we often suggest valerian for people
they say it really helps them
if you are taking any other meds youu do need to speak to a pharmacist or dr before taking it as it can interfere with other meds
