It's sad but what a legacy to leave. I have ;;been grateful for the Samaritans for being there when I have needed them over the years, and other 'helplines'. It's a pity so many are closing due to lack of funding or volunteers when really they need more of them at the moment eg with money worries etc. It will hilight to people why these sorts of charities are needed.

This is such a tragic story but what a wonderfull thing to come out of it. I hope that the knoledge of what she has achieved offers some small amount of comfort to her poor family. I have been thinking of them since it happened.

It was her funeral the other day, was thinking of her family. I know that as a person who has used Samaritans services often it is moving to know that there are people out there who are doing things like this, running marathons and fundraising for such a good cause, and of course all those who have donated. Restores your faith in humanity a little.
