First heard about this the other day and the figure was £300,000.

People power is pretty amazing. An awful tragedy for Claire's family obviously.

it is such a sad sad thing to happen for that family but they must be proud that people are honnoring a fabulous charity that there daughter/mum/friend/wife supported

Such a tragedy.  But what a tribute to her.

The fund is at over £700,000.00 plus £157,000.00 Gift Aid.   The Samaritans will use the money well in her memory.

 Its a wonderful tribute.
A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he'll give you his.

I know I'm in my own world, but its ok they know me here:)

It's very sad to read her page and her message knowing that a) it was only a few days ago she put out an appeal and b) that she'll never log on there again.

It really shows how powerful the internet can be, particularly now when so many people dismiss it and want to control it.
