Friction burns - help please

I have never had a friction b**n like this before - i dont know what the treatment is for it.

it's not bad enough for medical help, but i have a dent in the area too which isn't disappearing.

what is the treatment for them?

im going to sellotape around it to seal it then put the sock back on

sellotape would be a bad idea.

If minor, treat as any other type of b u r n

You should use a piece of cling film - don't wrap it around, just loosely'
