TV trigger warning (C4 9pm)
« on: October 21, 2013, 08:58:30 PM »
C4 documentary '999, what's your emergency' is focusing on MH issues tonight, and it's warning there will be scenes of SH and suicide/attempted suicide. Just thought I'd warn people, as last year they also did an episode focusing on MH and it was very upsetting and triggering.

Currently being at the point where I can watch things like this and thankfully not feel too triggered, I do think this documentary put it across pretty well. Especially the patient Martyn (?) made some really good points.

There is a MH series starting on C4 next Thurs (31st) called Bedlam. It's filmed in Bethlam hospital, Maudsley hospital, Lambeth hospital and a CMHT in South London.

Looks really interesting, but I'm not sure how triggering it will be.
