Title: Benefits Query - ESA Again
Post by: split on July 16, 2013, 06:02:58 PM
I know I have asked questions about benefits before but I find them all so confusing and cannot find the answers anywhere... :sb:

Basically, I am in the Employment Support Allowance Support Group...but on no paper work does it indicate whether it is contribution based or income based. I remember reading somewhere that it is neither and that your 365 days of contribution based available on ESA is suspended whilst in the support group...

The reason I am asking is I am trying to work out whether I am eligible for free dental treatment... which is only applicable to those no longer in reciept of Contribution Based ESA. But if I am right in suspecting that the support group falls into neither catagory what does this mean...

Any benefits whizzes out there able to help me clarify things???

Thanks in advance! (and cake to those who appreciate it  :cake:)

whenever i go to dentist they say that it is income related
you can ring benefits who will be able to tell you and ask tyhem to send you proof of what kind of benefit you are getting
good luck
i have a number if you eed it
