Pressure Garment. *SH*
« on: February 25, 2013, 08:34:44 PM »
I had to have a skin graft a few weeks ago because of a b**n. It's very nearly healed and I saw the scar management team today and they want me fitted with a pressure garment. They said that the scar is turning hypertrophic and that means that it is thick and lumpy and might cause problems with a joint that is close by. I've had grafts before but have never needed this. Does anyone have any experiences of having to wear one? It's got to be made specially and I have to wear it all the time, apart from when I shower and put cream on it.

And hope and grace were all I needed.

This isn't everything you are.

from what i understand they are really good and benefical

have you googled them

that might help understand them

and become more comfortable and familiar with the idea
no one wants to know
no one cares
those who do want to know,
want to know so they can use it against me
hurt, pain, anger, destruction, death and hatred, the story of my life
all i hope for is some one i can love trust and believe loves and cares for me and wants whats best for me
