Emotion Beliefs and Self Harm
« on: April 22, 2020, 04:31:07 PM »
Hi Everyone  :waves:

Aged 16-25?

Time to complete a short online survey?

Study Title: What is the Role of Beliefs about Emotions and Emotion Regulation in Self-harming Behaviours?

I’m Lucy, a trainee psychologist studying at York St John University. I am conducting some research looking at self harming behaviours as part of my doctoral dissertation.
This research aims to look at the relationship between our beliefs about emotions and self-harming behaviours. I would be very grateful if you could spare a few minutes to take part in this survey.

** Trigger Warning **
In one section of this survey you will be asked some questions on self-harming behaviours which may be triggering for some people.

The survey will take around 20 – 25 minutes and ask you questions on the following topics:

1) Your beliefs about emotions
2) Your emotion regulation skills
3) Your self-harming behaviours
4) Your overall well-being

If you are happy to take part, please click on the link below:
