Coming off mirtazepine

Hi Guys

I have been off Mirtazepine now for a week and have had no problems in this time.  I am aware that all ADs build up in the system so it could well be its too early for any symptoms. Has anyone been on this drug and isn't on it any more? What, if any, withdrawal effects will I notice and is it an easy drug to stop?

I so want this to work out as I will then only be on one AD plus a sleeper and it would be great to not be so medicated.

Any advice will be appreciated xx

I had no problems coming off of it at all. I gained some weight while on it; I lost that weight without trying after coming off.

It is - no probs yet and I believe some of my fat has disappeared!

I hope you lose the weight! I'm finding it so hard to not gain being on it :/ it' sucks.

Yep some weight has disappeared and not so hungry either!

yes I've come off it twice and am now back on it... I had no horrible withdrawals... I lost weight being off it.. was alot less hungry! I'm now back on it and finding it helpful again (I've accepted the weight gain) xx
