Was advised by psych today to continue taking Mirtazapine and to take Zolpidem every night also on top of these I have to now take Pregabalin for anxiety. Supposed to start tonight really nervous about taking it as know nothing about it, anyone had it before??
-
I am on pregabalin and honestly can't praise it enough. It has had a massive, really positive effect on my anxiety. I went from up to 4 panic attacks a day to 1-2 every few weeks.
Everyone reacts differently but I really recommend trying it :hug2:

Really? that makes me feel a whole lot better. The doctor gave me a really hard time this morning it was only when I went to walk out he suggested anxiety meds xx
-
Yup honestly, its been so so effective (to the point that my cc has named it my wonder drug ;D ). Hopefully I'm going to get my dose increased next week as I've been on this dose for a while and my anxiety has crept up a a bit but I still don't have all the panic attacks that I was having before.
How did it go taking it last night?
-
feel odd today drowsy hoping its just cos their new
-
It probably is hun, can take a while to get used to new meds :hug1:
How are you feeling tonight??
-
The meds wore off about 12 noon. The anxiety symptoms returned. Bit annoying xx
-
How often do you have to take them?? I take them three times a day to keep onto of things
-
He says only take one at night if i do ok i can increase them but has to be taken at night. I need help in the day too though :banghead:
-
 I dont understand why he hasnt prescribed them for the daytime too? From what my psych said it seems that its standard to take it multiple times a day as it has a short amount of time that it works for. Could you ask him about it? Or do you have a CPN you can ask?? (sorry, I cant remember what support you have).
-
They didn't give me a cpn or additional support. He gave me 3 weeks worth and I see my gp in a week. I may need to use them in the day cos I'm not feeling the full benefit on 1 pill. It wears off too early xx
