Best friends funeral

So in a week I'm going to my best friends funeral. I need advice on what is appropriate to wear. The dress code is casual and no black- so my original thought of black pencil dress is a no go. Any advice would be great xxx

What about a dress like these? Something fairly smart, with a bit of colour but not looking like you're going to a disco xx
