Anyone else had a text from Jobcentre +
« on: May 23, 2012, 09:03:37 PM »
A few days ago I got a text  saying 'neglecting to tell DWP about a change in your circumstances promptly may result in action being taken against you'

Not sure if this message was sent randomly to lots of people or if it was personal to me.

I have let them know about my voluntary work and filled in two lots of forms about it.  I got a letter after I sent the first forms back saying it didn't affect the amount of benefits I get.  Then when I started a second volunteer job I called them and filled in more forms but haven't heard anythingt back this time.

Hey Nightie,

No, I haven't but I came across this thread on MSE http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3737835

A few people are just as confused as you! but it appears to be sent when details are updated in the system. Sure it's nothing to worry about xx

Thank you Laura.

Maybe it was because I told them about my voluntary work then.

Make sense :) Seems a bit silly though, as you obviously *are* updating your details* ::) Silly JCP
