Title: Help us clarify the differences between suicide and nonsuicidal self-injury. Onl
Post by: -Researcher- on March 23, 2016, 08:36:39 AM
Some people think that suicide and nonsuicidal self-injury are the same. Our research group is exploring whether people have different thoughts during each of these behaviours. We hope that this may help us to develop more effective treatments and improve quality of life.

We are looking for adult (18 years+) volunteers who have thought about or engaged in suicide or nonsuicidal self-injury at some point in your lifetime. Participants will be asked to say whether they have experienced different thoughts. Participation is completely anonymous and will be online. Participants will be entered into a prize draw to win one of five £100 Amazon vouchers. Participating will take about 45 minutes. Please only take part if you are confident that you can complete the entire study.

To learn more and take part, please visit the study webpage http://tinyurl.com/zb8aulb or contact the lead researcher: Dr Andy Siddaway ([email protected]). Please pass this information on to anyone you think might be interested in taking part.
