 Thank you  :hug1: :hug2:

I'm feeling a lot better this morning, I've never slept so much in my life!

Bloods came back and it turns out that I developed sepsis- I'm definitely going to put in a complaint about the local A&E. I could've died and the next person could actually do so.

So, it look though I'll be staying for a little while yet and I'm still on a drip. Sigh.

That was what was flashing through my mind when you first described your symptoms and was relieved when you went to A&E. At least you're on the mend. Scary stuff though.

Yeah, the trouble is that the symptoms are so similar to to colds or flus. I genuinely believed that's what it was, I guess that next time I get a severe b**n and start feeling like I have the flu I'll get it looked at ASAP!

It has been scary and a lot of what happened has been a blur. I'm feeling better and I'm no longer dehydrated and I can now walk around better and get dressed without falling over. I'm managing to eat and drink normally again too. I've also talked to psych liaison and talked about a few things and they'll inform CMHT about what's happened. I'll be in probably for another day or two for IV antibiotics but at least I'm out of the danger zone, though I'm incredibly tired!

They are, which is why it's difficult to spot, but timelines & escalation are warnings.

~~ I guess that next time ~

If there's a next time, you'll also have to contend with the  :fryingpan:   ::P:

You'd think that the previous stay on the b**n unit would have been a proverbial kick in the bum but here I am again... I certainly deserve that frying pan!

Not feeling too good, temperature is back up so I have a nother IV in to try and bring it back down. :(

Hope things start to improve soon. Itís horrible feeling so poorly and powerless. I hope all the staff are still being supportive. Did you find the psych people helpful?

Take good care xx
