Psychiatrist.
« on: May 30, 2019, 05:59:17 PM »
My pysch is retiring and I won't see him again.

Also I am going too fast again. I need to slow down before I fall down. I am trying to do everything. I got a boyfriend and I want his babies lol. Overwise I am ok. I am stable. I have started to get more triggered recently. I saw some people from the ward I was on this morning and it brought me right back there.
now hand over the tea bags and we won't have any trouble.... :police:

It can be tough when psychs leave and starting with another won't be easy. What's the plan, are you getting another psych or being discharged?  :hug1: :hug2:

It's good that you know that you're going too fast, just make sure that you're CPN/PAs are aware so that they can keep an eye on you.

Have you talked to your counsellor about the psych ward experience? Psych wards are awful places and can be traumatising- I was once attacked by another inmate and seeing people who are seriously unwell and if the others harm themselves can be frightening. I think that it's a good idea to work through it with a counsellor.  :hug1: :hug2:

Will have to talk to my cpn about the pysch leaving. I cannot believe he is going. I am scared that I am going to snap soon like an elastic band. I need to be ok. I need to show work I can do this.

Itís really hard when weíve built up a relationship and thereís trust and support, to lose that. Itís understandable that you feel unsettled by it. Will you have a handover to a new psych?  :hug2:

When do you see your CPN?
It's hard to lose your psych but you won't be alone, you have a CPN and your PA.  :hug1: :hug2:

I will see a new pysch. I see my cpn on Wednesday. I also start a course about risk management that day too.

I'm glad that the support is continuing, maybe the next psych will have a different approach and you'll get better.
A chat with your CPN should put your mind at ease, try to think of specific things that are bothering you about it. Are you worried about not getting along/ starting all over again etc. You'll be OK  :hug1: :hug2:

Thanks. Was a bit weird at work today. They asked if I was ok. Said I was just worried about being good enough. Feels like I am being watched and any slip ups will be used against me to get me out of there. I don't wanna lose my job. I am also wondering if I am well enough to hold down a job.
