Am considering sending an email to explain about the depot and asking to leave an hour early but it's a little scary, on my application I mentioned I am a service user but worried they will withdraw the job offer if I explain I'm on the depot.

I think an email would be a good idea. I don't think they would discriminate against you because you are on the depot. If anything, it'll reassure them that you are taking responsibility for your mental health by taking your medication as prescribed.

I think Terri's right if you do tell them it shows you are being honest and open with them and they should be able to work round any issues that may arise. Only do what you feel comfortable with though.

Got a place booked on a disability hate crime seminar tomorrow at the police headquarters in the city.  Got the invitation through my other voluntary work but D can't come so I'll be going on my own.  It's two buses away and an unfamiliar area, will need to set off at 8.15am.  Feel quite anxious about getting there and being on my own.

Had a reply to my email and it's okay to go in to the training an hour later on the Friday so I can get my depot, now just got to arrange for my CPN to come to my flat first thing.
