I'm starting a massage course today, it runs one evening a week for 12 weeks. And the massage is going to be practiced amongst students, which means someone will be practicing massage on me every session, which means people I am doing the course with will see my scars

I mean... all the scars are over 2 and a half years old, or more. so at least there is nothing fresh. But I am so nervous!

Will keep telling myself it's only 12 weeks, then the course will be done!

Also going to start driving soon, the last past of this year seems to be about doing scary things!

Good luck, I did one yrs ago found giving as relaxing as receiving and scars are what makes us who we are, I'm sure you ll be fine, enjoy x

thats great about the course
i did one too the same as you and i had lots of nedw scars
fortunately the tutor knew me and my mental health state and he was so helpful

Well, that was ok, after all the introductory stuff, theory, and by the time she had shown us how to do a foot/leg massage there wasn't enough time to practice on each other

But now I'm worried about next week, and the week after, and all the rest of the weeks. Apparently we have to change partners every week so no sticking with the same person

Ahh well, i'm still glad to be doing it
