Co-created research on self-harm and eating disorders

Self-harm and eating disorders in young people (aged 18-25)

Please help us shape the future of research on this important topic.

We’d like to invited people aged 18-25 with first-hand experience of self-harm and eating disorders (experience of either or both is fine) to work with us to shape a future research project.
Initially this will involve taking part in a focus group in collaboration with Harmless on 27/28 Oct (we’d ask for one hour of your time 4-5pm on either the 27/28 Oct).
We can cover travel costs from around the East Midlands area and offer an involvement allowance of £15 per participant in Love to shop vouchers.
There will be an opportunity for participants to co-develop/produce the work further with us in future Café Connect events to be held in Feb, May and June 2017.
The idea is to engage people meaningfully and work with them of every stage of the research process.
We are also hoping that we will be working with WriteMinds to produce and deliver a spoken word event on 12th July 2017 in the Open Space at Nottingham Contemporary.

Interested in being involved or know someone who would be?
Please email: [email protected]

Many thanks
Ellen
