A small victory
« on: February 21, 2012, 10:31:00 PM »
I've been cutting everyday for the last few days and really wanted to give myself a night off from it before it started to spiral totally out of control.

So I brought my duvet in to the living room and spent all evening lying on the sofa with my cats and my cuddly kangaroo watching TV.  It really helped to calm and settle me and the urges to cut disappeared.  I even dozed off a couple of times.
When you feel like letting go, hold on.

Courage does not always roar.
Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow".
