Infection
« on: June 28, 2014, 08:38:03 PM »
 :help:

I know signs of infection for my usual self harms but I'm wondering what to look for on my breast

I cut it open to remove the lump that was in it . Used steris for ages cos they kept splitting and weren't holding it shut

But it smells and hurts all way inside more now

I clean it with salt water so it shouldn't be infected?

Thank you Rob. I'm off on Wednesday and need to call doc about results of my 24hr BP test so I'll mention it then I guess. Kind of hoping it will go away on it's own.

I'm guessing matter of fact would be the best approach. "I was worried about a lump so I took it out now I'm worried it's infected". Short and to the point.

I hope you can get it sorted Lily.

I've got anti biotics upstairs. Thinking of seeing what's most suitable out of the three types

You're not a doctor so you won't know. Even the doctor may not know by looking at it, and may need to take a swab so a culture can be done - it's happened to me before. You really are better off getting it checked out by a professional.

And hope and grace were all I needed.

This isn't everything you are.
